The College is a candidate for accreditation by the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools, 3624 Market Street, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania 19104. The Middle States Commission has accredited New York Chiropractic College for Higher Education since 1981.
New York Chiropractic College is chartered as a nonprofit educational institution and recognized by the Board of Regents of the State University of New York. New York Chiropractic College is authorized to offer post-baccalaureate programs leading to the Doctor of Chiropractic degree according to Section 6551 and 6552 of the Education Law and Title 8, Part 52, Subpart 52.2 of the Regulations of the Commissioner of Education.
